HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman is dead, three people are injured, and police are searching for the shooter, the Houston Police Department said.
Police said the suspect opened fire at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday on Fairland near Wilmington in Sunnyside.
Officers at the scene said they found a dead woman and three other people with gunshot wounds. Officials said the injured victims include two women, who are stable, and a man, who police say was hospitalized in critical condition and had to undergo surgery.
Investigators said the incident began with an argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend. The boyfriend left, returned with a gun, and opened fire at a home before fleeing the scene on foot, officers said.
According to authorities, he still hasn't been caught.
